Clip & text animations (In, Out, Loop)

Animate how a clip, title or sticker appears (In), leaves (Out) and moves while on screen (Loop).

• Drag an item from Effects ▸ Animations — In / Out / Loop onto a clip, or select the clip and choose in Effect Controls ▸ Animation.
• In: Fade, Pop, Zoom In/Out, Slide (4 directions), Fade Up, Blur In, Spin, Bounce, Flip, Stamp, Typewriter (titles).
• Out: the same moves in reverse, plus Erase for titles.
• Loop: Pulse, Heartbeat, Wobble, Float, Jiggle, Rotate, Flicker — set speed and strength.

Each clip has one In, one Out and one Loop animation; choosing another replaces it.

Shortcuts show the Mac keys: on Windows and Linux use Ctrl for ⌘ and Alt for ⌥.
