Lumetri Color

Open Effect Controls ▸ Lumetri Color with a clip selected.

Basic Correction

• Temperature: cooler (blue) to warmer (orange). Tint: green to magenta.
• Exposure (in stops), Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks.
• Saturation: 0% is black and white, above 100% is more colourful.

Curves

Choose Master, Red, Green or Blue. Click on the curve to add a point and drag it; double-click a point to remove it. Raising the middle brightens mid-tones; an S-shape adds contrast. Reset channel straightens it.

Color Wheels

Shadows, Midtones and Highlights each have a wheel: drag the centre dot toward a color to tint that range; the slider below makes it lighter or darker. Double-click a wheel to reset it.

Vignette

Darkens the edges of the clip.

Reset Lumetri clears all of these. Use the Lumetri Scopes to judge levels objectively. Simple Brightness, Contrast, Hue, Black & White, Sepia, Invert and Blur are under Stylize & Blur.

Shortcuts show the Mac keys: on Windows and Linux use Ctrl for ⌘ and Alt for ⌥.
