Recording a voice-over

1. Put the playhead where the narration should start.
2. Click the mic button on an audio track header (or in the Audio Track Mixer). Allow microphone access the first time.
3. The program plays while you speak. Program sound is muted during recording to avoid echo — use headphones to hear yourself.
4. Press Space or click the mic again to stop.

The recording is added to the Project panel and placed on that track at the starting point.

Shortcuts show the Mac keys: on Windows and Linux use Ctrl for ⌘ and Alt for ⌥.
