Voice effects

Drag from Effects ▸ Voice Effects onto an audio clip: Chipmunk, Deep Voice, Monster, Robot, Telephone, Old Radio, Megaphone, Echo, Big Hall. One per clip. They play live and are included in exports.

Sound effects

Effects ▸ Sound Effects has 19 original sounds (Subscribe Click + Bell, Whoosh, Riser, Pop, Ding, Boing, Camera Shutter, Impact Boom, Laser Zap, Record Scratch, Tick Tock, Slide Whistles, Bubble Blips, Notification Chime, Wrong Buzzer, Ta-da!, Applause, Drum Roll + Crash). Double-click to add at the playhead on a free audio track, or drag onto the timeline. They are generated in your browser and added to the Project panel.

Auto Duck Music Under Voice

Put the voice-over or dialogue and the music on different audio tracks. Select the music clip and apply Effects ▸ Smart Audio ▸ Auto Duck Music Under Voice: the music is lowered by 14 dB wherever someone speaks, with smooth ramps (volume keyframes you can adjust).

Shortcuts show the Mac keys: on Windows and Linux use Ctrl for ⌘ and Alt for ⌥.
