The Project panel

The Project panel holds everything in your project: sequences first, then media.

Toolbar

• Import, New title at playhead, New color matte, New sequence, Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence, Delete.
• Search filters by name. Grid/List switches the view.

Working with items

• Click to select; ⌘-click or Shift-click to select several.
• Double-click media to open it in the Source monitor. Double-click a sequence to open it in the timeline.
• Drag media or a sequence onto the timeline to use it.
• Used N× shows how many times a file appears in the open sequence.
• Right-click for Open in Source Monitor, Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence, Relink and Delete.
• Deleting media that is used in the timeline asks for confirmation and removes those clips too.
